According to the National Institutes of Health (NIH), about 168,000 adults over 65 face eviction or forced displacement annually, while other reports indicate that homeowners over 50 make up 25% of all foreclosures.  That is sad.

One of the reasons is that skyrocketing local assessments are driving many older adults into foreclosure caused by soaring property tax bills going up faster than what fixed incomes like social security can absorb.

The Internal Revenue Service announced the launch of a new page on IRS.gov explaining theEmployer-Provided Childcare Tax Credit, an incentive for businesses to provide child care services to their employees.

“This business tax credit helps employers provide their employees with child-care services and facilities,” said IRS Commissioner Danny Werfel. “We’ve heard that some employers may be overlooking this important credit, so the IRS has created a new one-stop shop for information on IRS.gov that provides an easy place to learn more.”

One of the biggest hypes going around the internet, knocking on your front door, or blasting through your TV is all about how you can have solar installed on your house for no cost to you. But, the devil is in the details as they say.
